Transitions & Change

Transition: noun tran·si·tion \tran(t)-ˈsi-shən, tran-ˈzi-, chiefly British tran(t)-ˈsi-zhən\: a change from one state or condition to another.

Change: verb \ˈchānj\: to become different : to make (someone or something) different : to become something else

As I round the corner to my 28th birthday, I realize that I have made changes and transitions in my life that may have been abrupt or sudden for other people in my life. I have encouraged a lot of people to "go with the flow" as I've made my way from child to teen, to adult to fiance' to wife. I haven't been quite understanding of people who have struggled with these transitions.

I will always be my mother's child, always, without question. I think that while I make transitions and changes which really have occurred in a 4 yr span, it'll be an adjustment for lots of people around me. I need to have patience and understanding of the struggle and also, strength.

Here's to another year of transitions and changes. I welcome everything that comes my way. Good or bad.
